On-Call Mover & Driver - Home Staging Company

The core of their successful installations is their crew who carefully transport, assemble and place furniture. They are currently seeking an On-Call Furniture Mover to be part of their expanding crew.

The role is very practical and physical, ideally suited for someone with robust moving experience, staging knowledge, and confidently handling a 26’ box truck. The chosen individual will collaborate with their creative team and crew to breathe life into their staging projects. The company also accommodates flexibility, providing on-call options for veteran movers seeking either part-time or additional work.

Key responsibilities of the role include driving 26’ box trucks to and from various staging locations, safe and efficient loading and unloading of furniture, decor, and art pieces. It also involves wrapping and protecting furniture using appropriate materials and tools, assembling or disassembling furniture on-site as required, placing and arranging furniture according to the staging plan. Other responsibilities are assisting with warehouse organization, inventory management, packing, maintaining clean trucks, tools and staging areas, and independently following directions and meeting tight deadlines.

Applicants must have experience driving 26’ box trucks and at least 2 years of experience in moving, delivery, or staging. They must have strong furniture wrapping and handling skills, be physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day, and have experience with power tools and basic furniture assembly. A professional, reliable, detail-oriented attitude is required, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required, and applicants must have their own transportation to and from the warehouse or job sites. Flexibility to work fluctuating hours or on-call shifts is also essential.
