The successful applicant is required to design and install interiors for up to three homes every week, making the most of Vesta’s inventory. They would act as the primary point of contact for all clients and coordinate closely with the sales team and the Creative Director. Their duties will involve organizing a design handoff meeting with the sales representative and the client to ensure everyone’s on the same page about the project’s scope.
Communication is key in this role, with the jobholder expected to report back to the scheduler while sticking to agreed deadlines negotiated between sales, scheduling, and the client. Effective execution of design projects is paramount, and they will be responsible for supervising the installation crew both during transit and on-site.
Work efficiency vital as installations are typically expected to be completed within three to five days. Providing regular feedback and installation requirements to the sales and scheduling teams is also essential, especially when there are any changes. They also need to make sure to photograph all completed projects.
Creating detailed and organized inventory lists is another important aspect of the job, and they must manage project close-out for the design team. This would entail organizing project photos, inventory, and updating the online database. They will also collaborate with designers to complete necessary mood boards for client presentations.
The main responsibilities include the effective management and execution of design projects while also representing Vesta to clients with professionalism and integrity. They must adhere to guidelines provided by the Operations Team and facilitate the sale of Vesta Inventory from staged homes.
Applicants need to be tech-savvy, preferably with experience using Google Suite. At least three years of experience in home staging and/or interior design is also required. They should have a passion for Design, Interiors, and/or Real Estate, and demonstrate integrity and commitment in all their dealings. Excellent communication skills are critical, along with the ability to work well in a team. The role calls for someone who is deadline-oriented, highly organized and adept at prioritizing tasks. Strong time management and problem-solving skills are key, and they should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Finally, reliable transportation is a must.
