Mia’s Home Staging is a professional home staging and interior design firm located in the Bay Area. It provides services to high-end residential and real estate clients. As they see an increase in their furniture and décor inventory, they are looking to organize a more system-driven warehouse operation. They are seeking a Warehouse Furniture & Inventory Coordinator who possesses strong organizational and inventory logic to support category-level asset management.
The key responsibilities of the role would include managing the daily ingress, egress, and return of furniture, décor, and accessories. The individual would be tasked with ensuring that the data in the inventory system is reliable and continually mirrors the physical stock. They would also help with inventory audits, reconciliation, and resolving any discrepancies.
Assisting in construction and maintenance of a categorized system for furniture and décor would be part of the role. Also included would be SKU-level tracking, including item type, size, material, color, and condition. Tagging inventory by style category and room usage, maintaining clear labeling standards for speedy picking, packing, and return workflows, and standardizing naming conventions, category rules, and tagging logic across inventory would be part of the job.
Monitoring the lifecycle of the furniture, from intake to deployment, return, maintenance, and retirement would be necessary. The individual would flag damaged, missing, or low-availability items and document changes in inventory status.
Other responsibilities would include preparing furniture and décor according to staging project requirements and pick lists. Checking items in and out for staging and destaging projects and inspecting returned items and recording condition updates in the inventory system would also be part of the role.
The Warehouse Furniture & Inventory Coordinator would be expected to maintain a tidy, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, understand basic furniture care, protection, and storage best practices. They would assist with the management of high-value and fragile furniture assets.
The role also demands cross-functional coordination. The individual would work closely with staging teams, drivers, and operations staff and must communicate clearly about inventory availability, shortages, and substitutions. They will also support peak workload periods to ensure warehouse efficiency.
To qualify for the role, experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or asset tracking is necessary. Familiarity with furniture, home goods, or product category management is preferred. The individual must be detail-oriented with a strong process and data discipline.
The organization offers a stable full-time role with potential for long-term growth and expanded responsibility. It’s an opportunity to build and refine a scalable warehouse and inventory system with clear ownership over furniture and décor asset organization in a professional and efficiency-driven work environment. The compensation for this role is competitive and depends on experience.
The pay range is $25.00 – $30.00 per hour and benefits include a 401(k) plan, flexible schedules and paid time off. The work location would be in person.
