They specialize in creating visually attractive settings for different clients including builders, developers, realtors, and private homeowners who aim to sell their properties at profitable rates and in a timely manner. They are currently in need of two full-time Stagers with promotion potential to Lead Stager role after a necessary apprentice/training period.
The incoming Stager Level 1 personnel will work closely with Lead Stagers to successfully complete various staging projects. Lead Stagers use their design skills and leadership qualities to steer staging projects from beginning to end, and manage the team of crew members assisting on each task. The job can be fun but equally demanding with times of stress, physical exertion, and the necessity for problem-solving. The team members are dedicated, hard-working, creative individuals who strive for swift and flawless execution of tasks, aiming to set high standards in the staging industry.
The duties and responsibilities of a Stager include arranging furnishings and lamps, hanging artwork and mirrors, accessorising and visually presenting the rooms, steaming and ironing bed linens, and helping with project completion tasks.
Qualified applicants should possess a commendable eye for design, visual merchandising, and space planning. They should also be individuals with a sense of humor and a positive attitude, able to adapt to unexpected situations, think quickly, and problem solve. The job requires taking initiative, being comfortable with both solo and team-based work, being open to coaching and critiques, and having the ability to give or take directions as the situation demands. A strong work ethic is essential.
The Lead Stager’s role might require managing different events, contractors, and team members on assigned jobs, leading a crew of 2-5 people to beautifully and efficiently stage a property within a day, communicating effectively with all levels of clientele about the company’s services, and understanding the benefits and necessity of staging as part of marketing a home for sale. Basic computer skills are a requirement as jobs are tracked through the inventory management system.
The working hours typically run from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with a half-hour for lunch, although, some days might be shorter or longer depending upon the requirement. One’s own vehicle might be needed at times for transportation of items. Lead Stagers might also be required to shop locally and transport purchases using their vehicle.
