In terms of duties, the lead designer would be assigned the task of conceptualizing and implementing home staging projects. These projects should align with the goals of the clients and current market trends. The designer would also handle the curation of furniture to stage a myriad of home styles, ranging from modern to rustic. Part of the work would involve collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors to put together renovation, remodeling, lighting sales, and construction activities.
Timely delivery is crucial, and the designer will be responsible for managing project timelines to ensure high-quality staging solutions are delivered promptly. He or she would also create visually compelling presentations using various software tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other drafting tools.
In addition to these, the designer would preside over the selection and placement of furniture, decor, lighting, and accessories to enhance the appeal of the properties. They would be responsible for color theory analysis and developing lighting design strategies to match the interiors. Understanding the latest industry practices in interior design, renovation, remodeling, sales strategies are also a part of their duties. They would also guide junior designers or staging assistants to ensure quality standards.
To qualify for this role, prospective candidates should demonstrate proven experience in interior design or home staging, with a portfolio of successful projects.
