The Curated Studio, a boutique home staging company in the Denver metro area, is in search of a trustworthy, competent and industrious Mover/Helper. This part-time contractual role requires the individual to support the staging team with transportation, setup, and removal of furniture and decor at various residential sites. Thus, playing a critical role in enhancing home appearances for prospective real estate clients and thriving in a creative team environment is highly valued.
The responsibilities encompass carefully loading and unloading furniture, artwork, rugs, and accessories, and aiding in the setup and dismantling of staging installations. This includes building furniture and arranging items at the property. Occasionally, they’ll need to drive company vehicles between client properties and the storage warehouse, adhering to all safety guidelines throughout. They must also keep the trucks, storage areas, and equipment tidy. They’ll be required to maintain professional communication with team members, occasionally clients or agents too. They must efficiently carry out tasks under the lead stager or project manager’s direction and adapt to a swift, ever-evolving work environment.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience in moving, delivery, warehouse work, or furniture handling. Being physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and withstanding prolonged periods of being on their feet is essential. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record, box truck experience is a plus. The candidate should possess a positive outlook, strong work ethic, be a team player and have the ability to adapt swiftly to the job’s requirements. They should be respectful of clients’ homes, committed to providing quality professional service, and be willing to work in varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Reliable, punctual, and professional conduct are also critical. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be able to work well within a team.
