The Staging Director at Ascend Staging and Design is tasked with managing all aspects of the company’s staging operations. They are expected to ensure a consistent level of quality while maintaining the brand’s established standards across all the properties that their team stages. This role combines creativity, leadership, and operational management.

The potential candidate is expected to lead a team comprised of in-house designers and contract stagers. They are responsible for maintaining quality control across all the properties their team works on and ensuring the company’s brand remains consistent. The Director is also expected to create and enforce a set of brand guidelines for staging and to develop and uphold a comprehensive staging playbook.

The role involves close coordination with the sales director on inventory and furniture selection for staging. They also have the responsibility of overseeing the training and development of new staging personnel and collaborating with the warehouse manager on aspects like inventory management and vignette preparation. Interacting with real estate brokers and homeowners to ensure they’re satisfied with the staging is another important element of this role. The director is also expected to solicit feedback to better their operations.

Tasks will include training new team members, regularly assessing the quality of staged properties, refining staging procedures as necessary, and selecting furniture and accessories for staging projects. The director will also schedule and assign duties, maintain a database of staging inventory, and attend regular coordination meetings with the sales and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years’ experience in professional home staging, a proven record in team leadership, a solid understanding of interior design principles and current market trends, and excellent project management and organizational skills.

This is a part-time role requiring 20 to 30 hours of work weekly. The base location is in the Denver metro area warehouse, with the potential for remote work when physical presence isn’t necessary. The job might require local travel to visit staged properties and sometimes working on weekends for urgent or special projects.

The compensation is $40 per hour with a performance-based bonus structure.
