Stage to Move is looking for a Home Staging Specialist. This position is based in Connecticut/Westchester NY and is a hybrid model combining remote and on-site work. The company is ready to begin the hiring process with a start date set for March 2026.

Stage to Move is a premium home staging and interior design firm recognized for its cutting-edge designs and impeccable project management. They are offering a unique opportunity for growth, allowing the successful applicant to assume command of interior design projects, even as they acquire a deeper understanding of the company’s primary service – staging.

The responsibilities of the Home Staging Specialist span multiple areas. This includes assisting with consultations, following up, and aiding in proposal creation. The specialist will deepen their knowledge of the luxury industry and select furniture and accessory pieces for staging projects. They’ll also style and accessory to too interior spaces. Inventory management and supply needs assessment is also part of the role.

The Home Staging Specialist should be physically fit and able to handle tasks that involve lifting up to 30lbs, standing for long periods, climbing, and navigating stairs. They may occasionally shop for decor, towels, and other items, using a company credit card. They will collaborate with the logistics team to determine furniture placement. Driving is a requirement in this role, as they must travel from the warehouse to job sites.

Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The specialist should be comfortable in dynamic, high-paced environments, able to manage changing deadlines. Attention to detail and solid time management skills are crucial. Furthermore, problem-solving abilities and swiftly thinking on one’s feet are paramount. The specialist needs to project a friendly disposition and maintain a positive attitude. They should also be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, and be ready to learn and adapt to design software and new technology.

The successful candidate will have a chance to shape both their role and the staging department’s future at Stage to Move. During maternity leave, they will take the lead in the staging department, then collaborate with the owner to grow the company’s interior design division. The specialist will have hands-on guidance as they evolve into the primary lead, executing projects, developing new business, and shaping the department’s future. The specialist will work with another designer and a dedicated team, furnished with all resources and support to realize their vision.

This part-time role offers an hourly wage between $25.00 and $35.00. It includes benefits such as a 401(k) plan. The role allows for hybrid remote work centered in Danbury, CT 06811.
