They’re seeking a Showroom Staging Associate. The primary function of this role is to support the Visual Merchandising team by assisting with product merchandising and maintenance of the showroom’s overall appearance. You’ll work closely with the Visual Merchandising Coordinators to implement product layout changes and execute visual displays as per directives. You’ll also look after the showroom and warehouse’s exterior, attend to daily maintenance and safety needs, receive and tag products, and manage showroom lighting. This role involves substantial physical activity, including heavy lifting and moving of furniture and boxes.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of basic hand tools for building and maintaining furniture, a basic knowledge of lighting wiring, and ideally one to five years of experience in a retail environment. The job requires flexibility, with the possibility of night and weekend hours. It also involves traveling to all showrooms in the region, and for store open-project participation. The candidate should be comfortable with bending and reaching, spending extended periods standing, walking throughout the showroom, and handling items weighing up to 75 lbs. The ability to work atop a 12-16 foot ladder is also required. Some knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, Google Suite, and general PC knowledge is necessary. Moreover, valid Florida Driver’s License is mandatory.
