Oasis Staging + Design is an expanding home staging business located in Honolulu, Hawaii. They are recognized for their small yet vigorous and high-achieving team. Their aim is to offer a workplace which is stimulating, challenging, congenial, enjoyable and rewarding.

They are currently seeking a hardworking, adaptable, and meticulous home staging assistant. The successful candidate will be imperative to the preparation of houses for sale and will work closely with the team. Key responsibilities will cover tasks such as organizing and cleaning, arranging furniture, and selecting items to enhance the saleability of the home. Candidates with excellent communication and organization skills, a keen eye for design and the ability to function both independently and as part of a team will be highly favored.

The duties of the successful candidate will cover a broad scope. This will include assisting stagers with packing and selection of furniture and accessories. The candidate will help in delivering and placing these items in the appropriate property, whilst also assisting in different areas as required. They may be required to collect missing items from the warehouse and return any unused items. Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for packing up pillows, clearing furniture surfaces, taking down art, making minor repairs, temperate cleaning tasks and managing the inventory. The successful candidate will also assist in basic furniture assembly and placing online orders for various supplies. Additional duties include shopping for required inventory and overseeing returns.

The hours of work are variable and can range from 2-5 days per week. The majority of work is to be carried out between Monday and Friday, within the hours of 7am – 2pm. However, occasional Saturday shifts may also be required.

Candidates interested in this position should be over 18 years old, possess outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail and be versatile and enterprising. They should also be focused on providing excellent customer service and teamwork, as well as being capable of working independently. A clean driving record and valid license are imperative as is the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional things to note include the quick-paced nature of the work and travel to different project locations throughout the island. The hours of work are dependent on the projects at hand and may involve weekend work. The work is generally busier in the spring and summer, with quieter periods in the fall and the winter.

There is a one-month trial period for every new employee. At the culmination of this period, the suitability of the placement for both parties will be reviewed.
