Oasis Staging + Design is a fast-growing home staging business situated in Honolulu, Hawaii. They boast a small, dynamic team of high-performers, and aim to provide a work culture that team members are genuinely excited to be a part of.
They are seeking a motivated and meticulous Home Staging Assistant to join their ranks. This role involves close collaboration with the team to get homes ready for sale. This includes managing furniture arrangement, selecting accessories, cleaning and organizing, among other related tasks. The perfect candidate will have a strong eye for design, superb organizational and communication abilities, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
The responsibilities to be assumed by the Staging Assistant involve assisting stagers in furniture and accessory selection, packing accessories, and organizing them prior to staging. They will also aid in the transportation of accessories to the home for staging, including unloading, unpacking, and sorting of materials in their respective rooms. Additionally, the assistant will support in determining furniture placement and accessory allocation during staging, be proactive in offering assistance when needed, and retrieve missing or needed items from the warehouse.
The staging assistant will also be responsible for inventory management, tabulating the location and state of items, maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse, assisting in basic furniture assembly, placing online orders for various business needs and doing shopping for inventory and arranging returns as required.
They should be available to work 2-5 days per week primarily within 8am-4pm timeframe from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
Suitable candidates should be at least 18 years of age, possess strong organizational skills and an acute attention to detail, be adaptable and enterprising, capable of working both independently and as a team, possess a valid driver’s license in Hawaii, have a clear driving record, and can comfortably lift up to 50lbs.
As a prospective employee, it is paramount to understand that the workdays can be fast-paced and require quick thinking. The warehouse is located in Honolulu but projects can be anywhere on the island (with some exceptions), therefore comfortability with driving between locations is essential. Working hours and days can vary depending on project schedules and occasional weekend work may be necessary. Following an initial trial period of one month, there will be an assessment to determine fit.

The job is part-time and contractual, remunerating $18.00 – $25.00 per hour for an estimated 5 – 20 hours per week. The work location is in person and the position offers flexible scheduling.
