CORT is seeking an eager Rental Consultant to become part of their vibrant team. They’re searching for an individual capable of forming customer relationships and producing furniture rental agreements through multiple mediums including in-person, over the phone, email, social media, and online. Rental Consultants take on a crucial and compassionate role of assisting people in transitions, guiding them in furniture selection, coordinating delivery, and addressing any enquiries, providing comfort and reassurance when it’s most needed.

The Rental Consultant position entails supporting customer sales and service requests via incoming calls, chat, SMS, and cases. The role involves maintaining and updating customer data in their CMR, achieving set sales and service objectives while ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience. Furthermore, Rental Consultants located in-market are responsible for operating a rental showroom.

The position is full-time, conducted on site at the CORT showroom, with an hourly rate of $26.00-27.00. The work schedule falls between Monday and Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm.

Expected tasks and responsibilities include managing all aspects of the lease project life cycle, recording all transactions in V2 for specific regions, employing technology as selling tools like CORT.com, tracking all activities in Salesforce, meeting productivity goals and standards, demonstrating professional communication skills with customers, maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients, keeping all stakeholders informed, coordinating with departmental resources to fulfill lease requirements, attending meetings with managers, and possibly working with the Asset Management team. The ability to provide backup support for other team members, engage clients with selling skills and product knowledge, and encourage clients’ commitment to CORT’s services are highly desirable.

Ideal candidates will possess customer service and/or sales experience, computer proficiency, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prior engagement with a diverse clientele. Any previous experience in housing, retail, hospitality, home staging, or furniture sales is an added advantage.
