Staging Design DC, a reputed residential home staging company serving the DC metro area, is seeking a skilled and reliable Furniture Assembler for an impending large-scale project. This is a temporary role expected to run for several weeks. It’s perfect for someone with prior hands-on experience who can work with efficiency and high standards.

The chosen individual will be tasked with assembling a large quantity of furniture, upwards of 80 items. They will need to be adept at following instructions and diagrams with precision. Additional light carpentry tasks may be included, such as minor repairs, adjustments, and reinforcement. It is also expected that the assembler maintain a tidy and organized workspace. They will work as a part of a team, with a common goal of meeting project deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have prior furniture assembly experience. While basic carpentry skills are preferred, they are not obligatory. They need to be dependable, punctual, and conduct themselves professionally. They should have a keen eye for detail and quality with the ability to follow instructions and also work independently. The role can be demanding, hence being adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs. The individual should possess a smartphone and have command over English or Spanish. Being bilingual is considered advantageous. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. is a must.
