Inhabit Staging, a top luxury home staging company in DC, is seeking a dependable, friendly, creative Designer/Stager who is also organized and tech-savvy. The right candidate is someone with a passion for luxury modern interior design, and a knack for managing the various details necessary for successful staging.

The role essentially entails being the right-hand person to the lead designer. The selected candidate should have a flexible schedule and a willingness to go beyond the call of duty. Work hours are typically from 9 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday. However, during busy periods, the job might require working nights and weekends.

The post offers less busy periods during the slow season, allowing time off. While the total hours differ weekly, they average out to around 40 hours on an annual basis. The primary work location is in the DC metro area, and the warehouse is located in Rockville, MD. Thus, the candidate must own a car and must be capable of easily navigating around DC.

The role does entail a significant amount of responsibility so the candidate must have at least three years of experience along with excellent references. The job involves duties such as preparing and custom curating stages, measuring properties, home installation and destaging properties. The candidate will also be expected to handle warehouse tasks such as organizing and restocking shelves with art, decor, and furniture.

Inhabit Staging is looking for someone that can take equal parts initiative and direction. The candidate should be a strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who can handle tight deadlines. Please note, the job often involves heavy lifting of up to 35 lbs.
