Town & Country Movers, an industry leader in relocation and logistics, is hiring a Staging Assistant for their dedicated Staging Division. This role is integral in transforming homes into attractive, market-ready properties. They work closely with real estate professionals and homeowners to create spaces that are appealing to potential buyers.

The company is based in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) and is looking for a responsible, meticulous person who can support their lead designers in their mission to stage homes throughout the region. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about design, organization, and teamwork and is interested in a hands-on role.

Job responsibilities would include assisting lead designers with the placement of furniture and decor in various residential properties. They will also be responsible for packing and unpacking home decor items with utmost care. Their duties will also include professionally hanging artwork and mirrors, as well as styling the homes to be ‘show-ready’ for real estate listings.

They will lead and manage de-staging projects, supervise movers during installations and removals, and adapt to various home layouts and staging environments. At times, they will be required to work independently to manage item pickups and returns.

Suitable candidates should have an interest in design or home staging, and possibly some exposure to home staging, interior design or a related field. They should also possess strong attention to detail, good spatial awareness, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Applicants who are comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and moving items, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, are preferred.

Additional information regarding this role includes flexible scheduling options, requirements for travel throughout the DMV area, provision of on the-job training, and opportunities for growth within the company. This part-time role offers pay from $20.00 per hour and expects employees to work no less than 20 hours per week. The work location will could be considered ‘on the road’.
