The position they’re looking to fill is that of a Home Staging Assistant. This individual would be required to support various projects across the DMV area. The role is quite hands-on, requiring both warehouse and on-site work, which involves assisting in the design and setup of staged homes. The chosen candidate will be part of a team that values creativity, attention to detail, and a positive work environment.
The responsibilities of this role would involve assisting with staging and de-staging projects at different client properties. Additionally, the new hire would be needed in the warehouse to prepare, organize, and load furniture and accessories. They would also help load/unload trucks and transport staging items to and from project sites. Their role would be integral to supporting design setup to ensure homes are staged beautifully and on time while also taking instruction from lead stagers and giving creative input when needed.
The requirements for this job include some experience in home staging, interior design, or a related field. Alternatively, the candidate can be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Interior Design program. The candidate should have their own means of transportation to travel to different project locations. Physical capability is essential as the job entails lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs and climbing stairs when needed. The candidate should also be reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with the team.
The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, approximately from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
