They are seeking a Home Staging Design Assistant. The role is at an entry level and entails assisting the Stylists with various design and staging tasks. The successful candidate will be picking up inventory, assisting in furniture selection, assembling furniture, and handling various tasks as required. The reality of the job is that each day brings a new set of tasks as per the needs of the day.

Although this isn’t strictly a furniture mover position, the role may require one to fill in occasionally, thus lifting and moving furniture will be a part of the job.
The required skills for this role include the ability to lift up to 50lbs, coordinating furniture arrangement with a partner, the ability to drive a cargo van and an understanding of basic design and color principles.

As a Design Assistant, this role will require involvement in various tasks ranging from quality control on staging projects before they are dispatched to training team members in various aspects like hanging pictures and keeping a property clean. Additionally, documenting job sites, preparing stagings and fixing any stagings that were done incorrectly, organizing the warehouse, helping in shopping for furniture and handling other miscellaneous tasks also fall within this remit.

Part of the role also requires acting as a Curator and Staging Analyst. This may entail creating Home Staging Transfer plans, framing artwork for the stylist and confirming jobs are done correctly. Skills in safe packing and loading of fragile items and furniture, as well as hanging pictures and mirrors are also essential.

The role is set to commence immediately. It is a full-time position offering an hourly rate between $20-$22. The schedule is from 8:30am EST to 4:30pm EST with the option of weekends and evening shifts.
