As a Home Stager at The Scott Team, the individual will work in tandem with agents and clients to grasp the unique potential of each property. The team member will be expected to design and execute staging plans that boost a home’s allure, focusing on augmented space, light, and flow. A significant part of the role involves sourcing and managing a diverse inventory of furniture, decor, and accessories while ensuring these items are kept well-maintained and fashionable.
Physical staging of properties is also a major part of the job, which includes furniture arrangement, setting up accessories, and ensuring a refined and welcoming presentation. The role also requires providing recommendations to clients regarding decluttering and cosmetic improvements, contributing to enhanced staging efforts. The stager will have to liaise with photographers to guarantee the presentation of staged properties is captured beautifully for marketing materials.
At The Scott Team, it is imperative for the stager to remain on top trends in current design and staging best practices. The position also involves managing scheduling and logistics for staging installations and removals.
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a home stager, with a strong portfolio of successfully staged properties. Versatile design skills, an understanding of visual aesthetics, excellent organizational and time management skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills will be important. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move furniture and staging items will also be required, along with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
The team is interested in candidates with a proactive, detail-oriented, and positive attitude. Formal training or certification in interior design or home staging, and familiarity with the local real estate market will be considered a plus.
