A Home Staging Company situated in Harford county is on the lookout for a full-time Mover/Inventory Care Specialist. This company, which is not your typical 9-5, provides, transports, and sets up furniture in vacant homes to make them appeal more to potential buyers, with the ultimate aim being a quick sale of the property.
Their warehouse can be found in Forest Hill Maryland, but the work carried out will extend over the greater Baltimore metro area, and further.
This is a role that requires team effort, and future employees will be working closely with the rest of the team on a daily basis. They are looking for a reliable individual, since every team member’s input is valuable.
The desirable candidate for this position should be able to lift 75 pounds and rent and drive a 17′ box truck. They should be able to work efficiently and follow directions with minimal supervision, as well as being able to read and follow a daily jobsheet.
Promptness, trustworthiness and detail orientation are also required traits. The setting calls for a clean cut, and an individual who is free from drugs and alcohol. You will need to pass a drug and background check.
The potential hire should have a smartphone with text and navigation capabilities, and must also have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Experience in moving is appreciated, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
The expected hours to work are from 8am-4pm from Monday to Friday, with the potential for longer hours in busier seasons. There could be the occasional requirement for a few hours work on a Saturday. The pay is hourly and depends on experience. After a 3 month expectation review, there could be the possibility for a raise.
After one year, employees are entitled to 5 days of paid time off (PTO). Overtime and possible bonus pay are other potential benefits post-probation.
