The Staging and Design Associate role entails assisting the Moyer Move Management and Moyer Staging + Design sales team with various tasks. These include staging, de-staging, generating floor plans, planning spaces, and design-related tasks.
They are looking for an energetic professional who can adjust well to the flexible needs of a small, growing company. The ideal candidate is an expert in managing various software packages or is capable of adopting new software design tools promptly.
Task requirements include learning and reviewing how to use all the required features of the Moyer adopted design software. Creating a viable base for floor plan design by transforming paper or digital renderings of client floor plans is necessary.
The Staging and Design Associate is required to convert furniture measurements into digital renderings, create space plan designs when asked. They are expected to go to the location and measure all unit aspects to generate a master template when confirmed.
The individual will also need to create an “output” for sales rep action and client review. They must be able to adjust iterations based on feedback from sales reps or clients. They must collaborate with the design team to implement staging plans for residential and commercial properties, arrange furniture, décor, and accessories to create an inviting atmosphere, and help maintain the inventory of staging items.
They are to work with the team and clients to satisfy staging deadlines and stay current on design trends.
The required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a certification in staging or interior decorating is preferred but not essential. Proven experience in home staging, interior decorating, or a similar role is preferred.
The candidate should have excellent time management skills, attentiveness to detail, problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational and planning skills.
They will need to have a “SMART” personal phone that can handle at least Microsoft Office 365 suite of services, including email if needed. The compensation for this position is $22 – $26 hourly.
