They are looking for a Home Staging Assistant to support the Lead Stager in their successful home staging business. They mainly work with high-end developments, installing furniture and accessories to bring life to vacant homes in Greater Boston/North Shore area real estate market. The position calls for a self-motivated, resourceful, and organized individual.
The assistant will work closely with the Lead Stager in the design, plan, and installation process. Key responsibilities involve keeping the inventory organized. The job also entails packing and unpacking accessories/decor at the warehouse for various projects. The individual will be needed at job sites for unloading packed buckets, setting up, loading empty buckets, and preparing for removal.
Project site responsibilities consist of finishing touches such as cleaning, hanging pictures, adding furniture pads, inventory stickers, and making quick store runs if necessary. Weekly warehouse duties include tying up loose ends from jobs during the week like handling excess decor in buckets from completed jobs. The assistant will also be expected to tidy the workspaces to prepare for the next job.
Having experience working with or for brands like Pottery Barn, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, or Ethan Allen is a plus. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to work independently and be part of a team. They should also possess the initiative and ability to accomplish tasks on time and within budget.
Work hours can vary significantly per season ranging from 10-20 hours, with potential for more. Work locations can differ, and no remote work is offered. The assistant must have reliable transport for commuting to the warehouse, job sites, and other locations if necessary. A personal vehicle may be needed for item transportation.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be prepared to stand, squat, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods.
This is a part-time job with pay ranging from $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The role brings with it the benefit of a flexible schedule. This will be an in-person working opportunity.
