Envision Redesign, a thriving home staging and redesign company operating in the Greater Boston area, is seeking a dedicated Staging Assistant. The role involves meticulously preparing client properties for sale, transforming them from bare spaces into fully furnished, appeal-absorbing model homes. Leveraging furniture, accessories, and artwork, the Staging Assistant would help to ensure the properties sell promptly and at the best possible price.
In the capacity of a Staging Assistant, the individuals would be part of a team executing design plans under the guidance of the Lead Home Stager/Designer. The tasks include packing, unpacking, moving staging props, arranging items within client properties, and working independently to re-stock them in the warehouse upon completion of the project.
Maintaining the warehouse in a neat and organized manner is vital to keep items at the ready for the subsequent job. Unpacking and assembling new furniture or inventory for future stagings is part of the role. If an individual can assist with minor furniture repairs, that would be considered a bonus.
The role typically requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week. The hours do fluctuate, but mostly fall between 8 am and 4 pm from Monday to Friday. The position does not entail working on evenings or weekends. Candidates must be available for full workdays during the week.
It’s essential for candidates to have reliable personal transportation for when the company vehicle might not be available. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is a necessity, as the role might involve driving the company vehicle.
