CORT is in search of a dedicated Rental Consultant to be a part of their vibrant team. They desire an individual who can foster relationships with clients and generate furniture rental agreements. This can be achieved in the showroom, through phone calls, email, social media, and with online customers. They want a Rental Consultant who can assist those in transition. This involves selecting furniture, organizing delivery, and responding to queries about CORT’s operations. Comforting clients during challenging times is a priority.

Rental Consultants field inbound sales and service inquiries from customers. This includes handling phone calls, online chats, SMS, and cases. They’re tasked with updating customer records in the CMR and meeting sales and service objectives. They also have the duty of providing an excellent customer experience. Rental consultants have added responsibility when it comes to the management of a rental showroom location.

The position is full-time and based in the CORT showroom. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $29.00 per hour. Work hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Rental Consultants are in charge of every aspect of the lease project lifecycle, from quote to lease execution. This includes conducting all transactions specific to the region and utilizing technology and Salesforce for sales. They should meet productivity goals while working online and demonstrate professional communication skills with customers. Other tasks include managing relationships with clients and keeping stakeholders updated. They are expected to provide logistical support and coordinate with other departments to meet lease requirements.

For applicants, customer service or sales experience is a plus, especially multitasking in a fast-paced environment and successfully engaging with diverse clients. Having worked in multi-housing, retail, hospitality, home staging, or furniture sales is a bonus.
