The role of a Stager is currently open within a vibrant realty team. This role is a perfect fit for creative individuals with an eye for design and a background in home staging. The Stager will assist the Lead Stager in the preparation of homes for listing, ensuring that they are styled appropriately and ready for the market.
A variety of responsibilities come along with this role. The Stager will undertake executing staging plans, working to reflect the team’s aesthetic and display each home in the most favourable light. This responsibility extends to the placement of furniture, art, and accessories within each home to accentuate its features.
The job also includes management of the staging inventory. The Stager will make sure all necessary items are available, transported, and stored correctly after usage. Time and effort will also be invested in setting up and breaking down staging materials, with an emphasis on efficiency and maintaining high quality standards.
Working cohesively with the team is crucial, especially with the Lead Stager, to ensure projects are completed promptly. They are expected to maintain all items in clean, excellent and ready-to-present conditions. The ability to take on last-minute challenges while adhering to the design vision is critical.
The Stager will also represent the team professionally during interactions with all clients, agents, and vendors.
Qualification requirements entail a year or more of experience in home staging, interior design, or a related field, a keen sense of design, and the ability to move hefty staging materials. Skills such as reliable time management, excellent attention to detail, effective communication, along with being team-oriented and adaptable to local travel and schedule changes are also important.
The work environment involves being on-site at various residential properties, where physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods are involved. Due to its fast-paced nature, the ability to meet deadlines and handle occasional schedule changes is fundamental.
This part-time role offers a pay of $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, requiring 15-25 hours per week. It comes with benefits including a 401(k),
