Envision Redesign, a renowned home staging and design company located in the Greater Boston area, is seeking to hire a Mover for their home staging team. These professionals are dedicated to transforming their client’s properties into model homes using furniture, accessories, and artwork. The purpose of this is to facilitate quicker sales at the highest possible price. Transformations from empty properties to fully furnished ones occur within just a few hours.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a team to pack, load, drive and unload home staging furnishings from the warehouse to the client’s property within the Greater Boston area. The candidate will also be packing and unpacking staging props, placing and arranging items throughout the client’s properties.

Potential hires should also be able to work with the lead mover, who may sometimes be required to drive the company’s 26′ box truck both within Boston and in the Greater Boston suburbs. Clean driving records, along with being licensed and experienced are necessary criteria.

The candidate may also have to work independently to pack and move staging props out of a client’s property when a project ends, consequently stocking these back at the warehouse. The individual’s effort to keep the warehouse tidy and well-organized will be appreciated. Additionally, unpacking and assembling new furniture and taking care of minor furniture repairs may be part of the candidate’s responsibility.

The position guarantees 30 hours of work per week, this may extend to 40 hours from Monday to Friday, typically between 8 am and 5 pm. It requires the potential hire to have their own reliable means of transportation to and from the warehouse in Wilmington, MA. The candidate must be at least 21 years old along with a clean criminal background.

A highly suited candidate will possess skills such as being self-managed, being able to work with minimal supervision, and exhibiting a friendly and positive attitude. Strong customer service, strong organizational skills, dependability, reliability, and punctuality are all necessary traits.

Moreover, the candidate must be physically able to carry furniture, bins of accessories, artwork, and soft good bags etc within properties, and up and down staircases (up to 100lbs). Experience as a mover, knowing how to protect furnishings, safely loading a truck and performing moves on busy city streets are additional necessities. The candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. and have strong command of the English language for interaction with clients.

The company offers an hourly rate ranging from $22-27/hr based on experience, 12 days of paid vacation and holidays, paid sick time, and a $125 health insurance stipend per pay period. The schedule is stable and mostly within business hours, no night or weekend work. The candidate would be joining a young, fun and successful team.

This opportunity has both full-time and part-time positions available with pay ranging from $22.00 – $27.00 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, referral programs, and shifts that only involve an 8 hour workday without nights.

Potential applicants need to answer questions about their experience as movers, clear driving records, and comfort in driving a large box truck.
