A small home staging and interior design outfit is in need of a reliable part-time assistant. This person will render support to staging projects, help in organization, run errands, and aid in on-site setup. The assistant will also provide care for the employer’s infant son during the working days. The job comes with flexible hours, and is tailored for someone who adores physical and varied work.

The suitable assistant will be comfortable within a family-run business environment. The schedule of the work is part-time, often falling between Mondays and Thurdays, with no work schedules falling on Fridays. The schedule changes from one week to the other, but with ample notice given in advance.

Responsibility wise, the assistant will assist with staging projects, which will include setup, organizing, and lifting. Typical busy workdays will also be supported by the assistant. There will be need to provide infant care as necessary, while the employer is at work. Duties therein will include feeding, soothing and putting the infant to sleep for naps.

The assistant being sought must be dependable and proactive. Comfort around infants is a must, since the assistant will be required to help in taking care of one. The assistant will also need to be fond of hands-on, varied work. A vehicle that can be relied upon for transportation will be required of the assistant, as well as the ability to lift light furniture or items.
