Their Design Consultant can expect a $15 – $20 hourly remuneration, depending on their experience.

Their responsibilities would involve keeping up with the latest design trends and industry developments as well as applying them in every client design. They take part in marketing homes by creating catchy flyers and brochures that underscore unique features for quick sales. They are expected to organize and attend photo sessions to ensure attractive photos, supervise purchasing, and installation of all furniture, equipment, and decor for timely and budget-friendly staging.

Meeting with clients in their homes to devise quick selling staging strategies is part of the job. They work together with clients and team members to meet or surpass client expectations. They oversee extra furniture rentals and ensure timely, budget-friendly staging. Their job also includes managing furniture storage and inventory, coordinating U-haul rentals and team support for furniture delivery to and from properties.

They have to establish staging scope and timeline for timely, budget-friendly completion. They should be able to manage furnishings and equipment selection, purchase, and installation for timely staging. The position requires coordinating construction and design projects to fulfill or surpass client expectations.

Strong verbal skills and a good listener are sought after in this position. A good understanding of finishes and furniture systems is desirable. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. A license in Interior Design, and a 2-3 years Interior Design work experience is preferred.

Having a current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to drive large moving vehicles is an asset. Ideal candidates should be passionate about creating captivating and visually pleasing interior spaces, and have a deep understanding of affordable and functional furniture systems and finishes.
