Utopia Home Staging, a luxury home staging company, based in Las Vegas, NV, known for transforming homes for the real estate market, is looking to hire a part-time Assistant Project Manager who has an interest in home staging and interior styling.
They require someone who is comfortable with a combination of organization, logistics, and hands-on staging work. They’re not seeking a standard interior designer, but someone who can create spaces that appeal to potential buyers and make a home photo-ready for real estate marketing.
The Assistant Project Manager would help with all aspects of staging, from arranging the inventory to the final touches in property staging. Some of the expected duties include project preparation, logistical tasks, assistance in staging installations, and ensuring each property is ready for photographs.
The role is hands-on and would require the candidate to be comfortable working both in a warehouse and homes during staging installations. Part of the job would involve lifting, moving, and placing furniture and décor, steaming bedding, preparing soft goods for staging, hanging artwork, and assisting with accessory placement. Another critical aspect is maintaining the staging inventory’s organization and cleanliness and completing the installations efficiently.
The candidate needs to be highly organized, dependable, and have a strong work ethic. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have an interest in home staging, interior styling, or visual merchandising. Physical capacity to lift and move furniture weighing more than 40 lbs is necessary. Having a natural eye for scale, balance, and accessorizing would be a big plus.
Experience in visual merchandising, retail display, staging, or interiors would be beneficial but not required. The company is particularly interested in someone who enjoys learning and problem-solving within a small team environment.
The role is based in Las Vegas, NV, and is part-time, with working hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, contingent on the project. The usual working days are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM although occasional Saturdays might be necessary depending on installation schedules. The starting pay is $20 per hour.
Every new hire would begin with 2 to 3 paid trial shifts to ensure compatibility between the team and the candidate. The role offers an opportunity to learn the staging industry from the ground up, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities over time if the individual demonstrates reliability, initiative, and a strong eye for staging.
