Utopia Home Staging, a company that specializes in luxury home staging in Las Vegas, is looking for a Part-Time Home Stager / Visual Merchandiser. Based in areas where homes are sold for top dollar, they are responsible for creating market-ready spaces.
This role requires hands-on work and needs someone who has both a creative eye and physical endurance. This is not an interior decorating role, the job is more about creating welcoming and marketable spaces.
The core responsibilities include arranging homes with the right furniture, rugs, and accessories. They are expected to steam and make beds, prepare soft goods and make sure every item is ready for photography. The job entails hanging artwork and mirrors keeping proper scale and proportion in mind.
Assistance with installation and de-staging tasks is a part of the role, which could include carrying and moving furniture weighing over 40 lbs. They are also tasked with maintaining warehouse inventory and ensuring the staging pieces stay in good condition which may involve light repairs, cleaning or touch-ups. The role demands working efficiently in a fast environment and providing support to the team on install days.
Prior experience in visual merchandising, retail display or home staging is needed along with a strong eye for scale, balance and accessorizing. The right candidate needs to be reliable, punctual and attentive to details. They should be capable of physically moving furniture and must be comfortable with working independently as well as part of a team. This job position is at Las Vegas and is based on the project timeline. The working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Friday with occasionally working on Saturdays. During summer, the working hours might be a bit earlier. The pay varies from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on the experience and skill set of the candidate.
