The ideal candidate for this new role is expected to be based in Hudson Valley and should have an extensive background and knowledge of visual merchandising and props. Previous experience with home staging and prop styling will be an added advantage.
The candidate will also shop for inventory from local stores and lead Hudson Valley staging and installations. Additional duties include liaising with clients on home staging, short-term rental, and vacation home design needs, organizing accessories for the Design Center, maintaining the warehouse/showroom and carrying out administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, have excellent communication skills, be conversant with social media and computer skills, and have a strong interest in real estate and interior design.
This part-time role combines professional organizing, home staging, and interior design. The candidate would be working at the brand new Hudson Valley Headquarters/Warehouse/Design Center located on a picturesque four-acre lot surrounded by orchards in New Paltz.
The ideal candidate should have training in interior design, exceptional organization skills, a keen interest in home staging and interior design, basic furniture assembling skills, and basic visual merchandising and styling skills. The candidate should live within a 15-45 minute drive of Highland, New York.
