The job is for a full-time Senior Home Stager-Lead Home Stylist/Visual Merchandiser based in New York City. The applicant must be a NYC-based individual with the ability to travel weekly to their Hudson Valley Headquarters. They will be required to provide a cover letter upon application. The role is a managerial one, where designing, directing and overseeing complex projects will fall under their responsibility. The criteria for the job does not rely on AutoCad or REVIT skills, or any other drawing ability, but rather leans more towards a seasoned home decor stylist with visual merchandising expertise.

The applicant must be a self-assured designer, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in home staging or interior visual merchandising. They must have at least 1-2 years of experience managing a design team, running projects from the initial concept to execution. The job entails being able to assign tasks, train junior staff, and make decisions with minimal supervision. They must be quick in handling meticulous staging projects in high-end real estate, possess a knack for furniture curation, styling, and on-site execution. The applicant must be solution-oriented, neat, highly collaborative and willing to travel to the Hudson Valley 1-2 days per week as required.

Certain responsibilities will be lead and manage home staging projects from concept to installation, direct and oversee a team of designers, stylists, and logistics staff, curate and style luxury real estate listings and hospitality properties, collaborate with their NYC and Hudson Valley teams to maintain high visual standards, act as a person of contact for quality control, on-site execution and team accountability. The role requires working with company leadership to streamline workflow and improve operations while also providing assistance with furniture selection, layout, and installation support.

To qualify, the applicant must have 3-5 years of professional experience in home staging or home décor visual merchandising and 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role. They should have a strong design portfolio showcasing interior styling and staging projects, ability to lead installs and coordinate team roles on-site. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Additionally, if the applicants have experience with short-term rental or hospitality property design, familiarity with inventory management, procurement, or logistics, hands-on skills such as hanging artwork, arranging accessories or assembling furniture and a strong social media or content creation background, they are in an advantage.
