The Helpful House Buyers are in search of a reliable, creative and highly organized individual to fill the role of the Staging Assistant in their increasingly expanding home staging business. This candidate must be passionate about real estate, design, marketing and thrive in an environment that is both fast-paced and hands-on.
The pay rate for this role ranges between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour. Duties for this multifaceted role include assisting with the staging of homes, from the setup to breakdown, attending consultations with clients, and taking thorough notes.
The Staging Assistant is expected to pick up and return staging elements as necessary and cold call real estate professionals to build relationships. They will also represent the company professionally at networking events, engage with social media followers and create and schedule related content.
The role also requires the successful candidate to clean, organize and maintain the warehouse and inventory areas, measure spaces and create staging layouts. They are also expected to source and procure staging inventory as needed and assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as flyers and brochures.
They should support open houses, generate and send invoices to clients, maintain and update spreadsheets and CRM systems and schedule all staging and pick-up appointments.
Other responsibilities include responding to client phone calls and emails, following up on clients for reviews and testimonials and keeping the company website updated. They should also be capable of taking professional photos and videos of staged homes, prepare and send service contracts to clients and periodically check in on staged properties.
To be successful in this role, a strong interest or background in interior design, marketing, or real estate is a plus. The individual must have strong organizational and communication skills and be proficient in social media platforms and basic design tools, such as Canva. Physical strength to lift and move furniture and decor items is required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. The successful candidate should be tech-savvy, comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools and be a self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
