Custom Home Furniture is on the hunt for hard-working, adaptable All Purpose Associates to complement their Distribution Center team at the Leland Industrial Park location. This position is central to both warehouse and delivery procedures, ensuring furniture is received, sorted, prepped and transported to clients with excellent service standards.

The All Purpose Associates are required to support every phase of their warehouse and delivery procedures, from the receiving and safekeeping of incoming freight to inspecting merchandise and preparing items for delivery. The role also includes loading trucks for daily delivery routes, aiding white-glove delivery teams with furniture movement into customers’ homes, setting up and assembling items in the right spaces, and conducting client walk-throughs to ensure clients are satisfied.
Associates are also responsible for keeping the warehouse environment safe, neat, and organized. They are required to communicate with the Customer Service team about delivery updates or issues and assist with inventory control and general operational tasks as assigned.
Applicants ought to be able to lift over 150 lbs (usually with help), and should be comfortable with extended periods of standing, crouching, kneeling, and physical exertion. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is also important, plus reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills are also a must, and previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role is preferred.
The pay range is $13.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. The working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends as needed.
