The company Custom Home Furniture is currently looking for a committed and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to become a part of their team based in Wilmington, NC. They are offering a full-time position and a salary that ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on the candidate’s experience. The role is central to delivering an excellent customer experience, and the tasks include dealing with inquiries, filing manufacturer claims and supporting service operations. They are looking for someone with fantastic communication skills, with a proven background in customer service or a similar role.

The jobs to be performed in this role include responding swiftly to customer inquiries through phone, email, or chat to ensure the provision of high-level customer satisfaction. They also entail accurately examining customer issues and providing efficient, timely solutions. The representative will have to keep detailed records of customer interactions, service claims and transactions using the company systems and file manufacturer claims adhering to factory warranties and company guidelines.

The role also requires the representative to collaborate with other internal teams like service, logistics and sales to resolve issues and enhance processes. It’s necessary for the candidate to show professional phone and email etiquette that reflects the company’s commitment to their excellent service. The representative will also contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service workflows to enhance overall client satisfaction.

The qualifications necessary for the role include previous experience in customer service or a related field and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must also be proficient with data entry and comfortable using tech systems such as CRM, email, Excel, or retail service platforms. They should have strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills, and experience with escalations. While bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities, experience in furniture retail, service claims, or warranty processes, and familiarity with industry systems such as FROG or other customer management tools are preferred, they’re not mandatory.

With a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
