Stagers/designers with experience are being sought to join a team. The roles demand skills in home staging, design selection, and project management for preparing homes for sale. Individuals who can manage the entire process from creating a design scope to staging the final space are preferred. Initially, the designers will be paid hourly, but will later progress to being paid per project.
They desire candidates who are proficient with client-facing communication. As part of their responsibilities, selected candidates will have to work with the team to assess properties and develop work scopes based on the properties’ needs and sales objectives. They will need to determine and select paint colors, carpet sources, lighting fixtures, and select backsplash tiles to heighten property appeal. They will have to identify and source cost-effective and appealing design solutions tailored to each home.
In addition to this, the candidates need to have good vendor management and coordination skills. They will be expected to meet vendors at the property to review project scopes and obtain quotes. They will need to coordinate with painters, carpet installers, electricians, and tile installers to ensure timely delivery and quality work. It will be their responsibility to schedule and sequence the work upon seller approval, and to keep track of the progress to ensure deadlines are met.
These individuals will also need to oversee and ensure quality control in projects. They will need to monitor the quality and timeliness of each phase of work, solving any issues that may arise. Regular site visits will have to be conducted to ensure all work is completed as planned and matches certain standards.
Home staging is another element of the job. Stagers will use furniture provided to create cohesive and inviting spaces for prospective buyers. They will have to use staging to showcase each property’s unique strengths and increase its market appeal.
The job types are part-time and contract, with projected total compensation ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. The ability to commute to Waxhaw, NC 28173 is required, and relocation to the same place before starting work is preferred. The work location is in person.
