They’re a home staging company looking for an experienced mover. Ideally, the candidate should have reliable transportation to work with a team. The daily work routine typically begins at a warehouse, helping load a truck before moving on to deliver furniture, art, and rugs to a residence, all under the direction of a designer. Another facet of the roles includes packing housewares such as furniture and artwork, returning these to the warehouse and unloading them onto shelves. The working hours start from 8:00am, with ending times and weekly hours ranging between 15 to 30 varying.
The responsibilities include loading and unloading furniture safely using equipment such as dollies, operating trucks, and conducting deliveries to both residential and commercial locations. During transit, cargo should be loaded and secured efficiently. Candidates are also expected to assist with warehouse organization, including moving inventory using lifting techniques and equipment. Providing accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports is key. Suitable communications skills are required for professional interaction with customers during deliveries to address special instructions or concerns.
Candidates must have experience as truck drivers and movers, with a particular focus on customer service. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, with previous experience using box trucks being a plus. The ability to carry heavy loads and perform manual labor is essential, alongside having physical stamina to manage extensive periods of standing or repetitive lifting. Familiarity with warehouse equipment, along with knowledge of route driving regulations, is beneficial.

The pay range for the position is $18.00 – $21.00 per hour. Remote work isn’t possible with this role, it’s primarily in-person. Both full and part-time contracts are available.
