An Assistant Home Stager position is open for someone dependable and detail-oriented to support a staging team. This role involves assisting with the setup and breakdown of projects, including the movement of furniture and décor placement. The successful candidate will help make homes photo-ready and will ideally enjoy physical work, be good at following directions, and take pride in creating neat, organized, and refined spaces.
This role provides training on the job, with potential opportunities for advancement. The new recruit will help experienced stagers to implement plans that show off the best features of each property. They will assist in arranging furniture, artwork, and accessories to make spaces that are warm, cohesive, and ready for the market.
It is the Assistant Home Stager’s responsibility to ensure all staging elements are clean and high-quality according to Ashworth Home’s standards. The role also involves assisting with end-of-day tasks like fluffing pillows, steaming linens, and final walk-throughs.
There are also tasks related to loading and unloading furniture and accessories at staging locations. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workplace during the staging process. The new recruit will take direction from the Lead Stager and should be a proactive team player on busy staging days.
The role also requires the candidate to assist with the management of inventory, such as packing, unpacking, and positioning of items during installations and de-stages. They would be responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage areas and vehicles. The Assistant Home Stager will promptly report any missing or damaged items to the Staging Manager.
Candidates should have an interest or background in home staging, interior design, or visual merchandising. They need to have a keen eye for design and attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical fitness is important, as the job will require the lifting and movement of heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
A reliable mode of transport and a valid driver’s license are also required. The ideal candidate will be professional, punctual, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

The Assistant Home Stager position is part-time and contract-based, paying $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. The expected hours of work are 4 – 24 per week, with the work being performed in person.
