They are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Assistant Home Stager to assist the home staging team. The right candidate will be involved in the preparation and the wrap up of staging projects. The tasks include moving furniture, arranging decorations, and ensuring that each house is ready for photo shoots. This is a practical role suitable for those who enjoy physical labour, can follow instructions precisely, and have a sense of satisfaction in creating neat, organised, and professionally styled spaces.

As part of the role, the candidate will be required to drive the company box truck or rental trucks to and from project sites. Therefore, having a valid driver’s license and feeling comfortable operating larger vehicles is mandatory for this position. This position comes along with on-the-job training and the opportunity for growth over time into more advanced positions.

The assistant stager will be required to aid in implementing staging plans that bring out the best of each property. This involves arranging furniture, artwork, and other accessories to create welcoming, unified, and market-ready living spaces. They will also need to ensure that all staging elements are clean, presentable, and meet the high-quality standards set by Ashworth Homes. They will be responsible for completing end-of-day tasks such as fluffing pillows, steaming linens, and doing final walk-throughs.

The selected candidate will also help in loading and unloading furniture and accessories at staging locations. They will assist in the preparation and wrap up of staging projects, adhering to instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency. It is expected that staging areas remain clean and organized throughout the installation process. During fast-paced staging days, the selected candidate will need to follow instructions from the Lead Stager and engage fully as a team player.

In terms of inventory support, they will assist with packing, unpacking, and placing inventory during installations and wrap ups. They will be expected to help keep the warehouse and staging vehicles clean and organized. They will need to report any damaged or missing items to the Staging Manager without delay.

The ideal candidate should have an interest or background in home staging, interior design, or visual merchandising. It will be beneficial to have a strong eye for design and close attention to detail. They should possess a positive attitude and have an ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. The position necessitates being able to lift, carry, and move furniture and decor items up to 50 lbs. They need to have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and should be professional, on time, and reliable. The candidate should be comfortable with both independent work and teamwork.

The pay rate for this position ranges between $15.00 and $20.00 per hour. The role requires in-person work.
