OnStage PDX is searching for a dependable and positive individual who can confidently manage the Seasonal Home Staging Assistant position for the 2025 summer season running from April to September. They need someone who can handle an unpredictable workload, as weekly hours could vary between 15 to 30 depending on the installation schedule. The potential candidate will support the design team in planning, organizing the warehouse, careful detailing, and on-site installation.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve assisting with staging jobs. Tasks include packing and unpacking décor, moving, cleaning, and detailing furnishings, making beds, hanging art along with occasional styling and accessorizing. Furthermore, the role involves various warehouse duties such as carrying out inventories, restocking, cleaning, repairing staging items, and other assigned duties.

In terms of qualities, they are seeking someone who is a fast thinker and can adapt well to unforeseen challenges. Being a proactive communicator is also key for representing the company professionally and maintaining friendly relations with all clients. Detail orientation is important, someone who can simultaneously track multiple details and react when something minor is amiss. They value natural organization skills, as well as a person’s ability to create organizational solutions. Whilst recognition is rewarding, they are looking for someone comfortable with being the driving force behind the brand. Flexibility is another crucial trait, particularly the ability to adjust quickly to short-term changes.

Additionally, the physical demands of this role require the capacity to consistently lift at least 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

This position also requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

The type of employment will be part-time and temporary, with a pay of $18.00 per hour.

The work schedule will be from Monday to Friday.

Finally, all work will be conducted in person.
