OnStage PDX is in need of a trustworthy, driven, optimistic, and proactive individual to step into the role of Home Staging Assistant for their 2026 season, running from January to October. They require someone who can adapt to a fluid work schedule, with work hours varying from 15 to 30 each week, dependent on the installation timetable.
The Home Staging Assistant will serve as a supportive force for the design team, involving themselves in planning, organization of the warehouse, fine-tuning and installing elements on location.
Prominent tasks and responsibilities will revolve around collaboration with staging jobs. This involves tasks such as packing and unpacking décor, shifting, fine-tuning, and cleaning up furniture, making beds, hanging artworks, incidental styling and accessorizing, performing a range of warehouse duties, carrying out inventories, restocking, sanitizing and repairing staging items along with various duties as needed.
The ideal candidate for OnStage PDX is a problem solver who is quick-thinking, flexible, and able to predict and overcome unexpected hurdles. It is someone who is a natural communicator, facilitating open and regular dialogues, and able to portray the company in a professional light, engaging with all clients amicably. Further, they need to be detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills and a vigilant eye for minor details, alongside possessing inherent organizational skills, deriving pleasure from formulating systematic solutions.
They should be a grounded individual who, although appreciating recognition like everyone else, is content being the name behind the brand. Additionally, they should be capable of adjusting to abrupt changes.
Regarding physical strength, the person should be capable of regularly lifting loads of at least 20 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. With regard to travel requirements, it is necessary for the individual to have dependable transport and hold a valid driver’s license.
This position is part-time and temporary, offering a wage of $20.00 per hour. The work location will be in-person.
