Inspired Spaces, one of Portland’s best staging and design companies, has opened a part-time position for a Staging & Design Assistant. The new team member will have the chance to assist in home staging and occasional design projects. They are also expected to contribute to inventory maintenance, stage estimates & consultations, contract drafting, and warehouse organization.

It’s an excellent opportunity for those who are eyeing a career in the design industry and are keen to receive on-the-job training. The ideal applicant should demonstrate organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

The candidate should be in good physical health capable of lifting furniture as needed. Excellent speech and written communication skills are highly desirable. Some design experience can be beneficial, but it’s not a necessity. Mastery in Word, Google Docs, & Google Drive is expected. They are looking for someone who has a positive personality and can fit well into their company culture. Excellent customer service skills, exceptional time management, and professionalism are important traits that the candidate should possess.

A successful applicant must pass a criminal background check and hold a driver’s license. A background in interior design/staging and some college education can be helpful, but these are not required.

The job comes with a pay rate of $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. The successful applicant will enjoy the perk of paid time-off. Working hours are during the day shift, from Monday to Friday. High school or equivalent education level is a prerequisite. The applicant should be available for Day Shift. Ability to relocate to Oregon City, OR 97045 before starting work is required.
