They are in search of a dedicated Logistics Team Member to join their team and help the physical process of their staging projects.
In this role, the logistic team member will join forces with one other team member to pull furniture, decor, and linens from their warehouse storage. The role also includes loading and unloading items from a 14-foot box truck, utilising a ramp and proper lifting techniques. The candidate must be competent in lifting and carrying heavy items, up to 75 lbs, and be comfortable with ascending and descending stairs.
Part of the post involves assembly of furniture and performing minor repairs where needed. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining a neat workspace both in the warehouse and on site. Clear and effective communication with team members during moves and staging setups is also essential. They must also ensure all items are packed securely and protected during transit.
Working hours are mainly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings with the possibility of additional shifts on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. The shifts usually last between 2-4 hours, and although the hours are not guaranteed, they strive to keep scheduling consistent.
Applicants must be physically fit and capable of repeated lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs. Ideal candidates have previous experience in moving furniture and loading/unloading trucks. Furniture assembly experience and basic repair skills will be an added advantage. The candidate must have reliable transportation options and must not smoke or vape on job sites.
