A busy local interior designer and home stager is seeking a team of reliable general laborers to support an array of functions. They need an assistant in property management and home staging, cleaners for upkeep of short-term rentals, and an experienced handyman or mover for furniture set-up and transportation, who has a reliable vehicle.

The Home Staging Assistant is expected to have some background in property management, real estate staging, or a related field. Responsibilities of the cleaners include thorough, detail-focused cleaning and restocking of short-term rentals, with proficiency in Airbnb upkeep. They must have a flexible schedule and their own transportation.

The handyman would handle a variety of projects, including, but not limited to, installing locks and flooring, painting, affixing light fixtures, setting up digital door cams, assembling various types of furniture, and installing doors including barn door styles.

The candidate for Home Staging Assistant needs to be detail-oriented and creative, with a knack for visual appeal in line with current design trends. They’d be supporting interior design projects, collaborating with teams for staging homes for short-term rentals and market presentation. Utilizing software tools, they’ll prepare visual materials including renderings and mood boards. Their role has a project management aspect, coordinating with vendors or contractors and ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Established knowledge in CAD drafting, interior design principles, color theory, lighting design, remodeling, renovations, and construction processes is a plus. They are expected to possess strong drafting and spatial planning skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills are vital, and an interest or background in interior design or sales related to lighting, remodeling projects would be advantageous. The ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is important.

Those capable of assisting in developing conceptual layouts and visual presentations using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite will be given preference.

This is a part-time, temporary, contract-based opportunity. The pay range is from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. As it involves on-site tasks, the job requires regular travel.
