Elevate Home Staging & Design is currently seeking a reliable, skilled Furniture Builder, Mover, and Destager to join their dynamic team. This role is critically important in ensuring the immaculate appearance of their staged homes and impressing potential buyers. A successful candidate would have a detailed perception, strong organizational skills, and the physical capacity to handle furniture assembly and moving tasks efficiently.
The key responsibilities of the role include assembling and disassembling furniture pieces as per design guidelines, carefully checking for stability and look. The candidate will be needed to safely transport furniture and decor items to and from staging sites and arrange them as per the staging plan for an optimal presentation. They will also need to efficiently dismantle and remove furniture and decor items from properties upon sale or at the end of the staging period, ensuring safe pack-up and transportation. Close collaboration with the staging team for the effective execution of design plans is also expected while communicative efforts to suggest improvements or report issues are appreciated. The candidate will also be tasked with maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization along with occasional furniture spot-cleaning upon return from stagings.
Potential candidates should have strong physical endurance and safe heavy lifting capabilities. An eye for detail and dedication to highly satisfactory work is required. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is important. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are also necessary for the role.
The position is open for both full-time and part-time roles, with benefits including employee discounts and tuition reimbursement. The work schedule includes both four and eight-hour shifts and requires in-person attendance.
