The Sales Representative role at The Staging Company is the organization’s public face. The position is tasked with representing the company professionally, building solid relationships, and communicating with utmost integrity. The key role the Sales Representative plays is following through with prospects to close business in line with the company’s goals.

The Sales Representative will be tasked with establishing and nurturing a network of resources that can provide new sales leads. They will communicate with customers and prospective clients to understand their needs and suggest suitable products or services. Demonstrating the benefits of these products or services is integral to this role, as is ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and the efficient resolution of post-sale issues.

The representative will maintain ongoing relationships with past and current customers, alerting them to new products, services and enhancements. They’re expected to provide detailed sales activity reports and maintain daily metrics such as conversations, proposals won, and revenue. They must develop a comprehensive understanding of real estate, staging and design, as well as mastering the company’s knowledge, products and services delivery model. Attending sales meetings and following the sales process to a signed agreement will be part of their daily tasks.

The ideal person for this position will be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace and will possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Sales and negotiation skills are critical, and maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance is a must. The ability to effectively communicate in English with team members, management, and customers is also a key competency.

A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field being highly preferred. This role demands a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience. Some aspects of the role may require travel, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
