A fast-developing home remodeling and real estate services company is seeking trusted and experienced Home Staging Subcontractors. They need individuals able to manage various residential projects, including remodels, flips, and making listings ready for the market. They’re particularly interested in people who possess a strong sense of design and the ability to transform empty or renovated homes into visually appealing, photo-ready spaces that help to sell properties quicker.

In their day-to-day duties, the Home Staging Subcontractors will provide furniture and décor staging for main areas of the house such as kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms. Part of their role will involve delivering, staging, and de-staging inventory according to a set schedule. They’ll need to liaise with project managers and/or listing agents to ensure access to the property and understand any specific layout preferences. Their design skills will be used to create warm and welcoming interiors that will appeal to potential buyers.

In addition, they’ll also be responsible for maintaining a tidy and professional appearance at each job site. They’ll need to take before and after photos for portfolio and marketing purposes. When a property sells or the staging period ends, they’ll then need to remove the staging inventory.

These subcontractors must be either an established staging company or an individual with relevant experience. They must also have at least 2 years of home staging or interior design experience. They should have access to their own furniture, décor, and a delivery vehicle. Having the capacity to adapt to both modern and transitional design themes is key. They need to be punctual, communicative and detail-oriented. They should offer subcontractor pricing exclusively, as retail or design firm rates are not accepted. While it’s preferred, having insurance isn’t a necessity.

A lot of the company’s work is with out-of-state real estate investors and listing agents. Oftentimes, they work on flip homes or renovated rentals that are getting listed on the market, and staging is a vital component in helping these properties sell faster. On some projects, they offer a Pay at Closing option which could be a good fit for stagers willing to defer their payment until the home is sold.

This opportunity provides a chance for steady, high-volume staging work that helps their investor clients reduce their upfront costs. The role is a contract type job and pays starting at $2,750 per month, but compensation can vary based on the project scope, home size, and number of properties staged. This role is available all year round and their contractors work physically in person.
