Morphe Home Staging & Design is a vibrant and expanding home staging and interior design company that specializes in preparing homes for the market by transforming them into stunning spaces. They are in need of a highly organized, forward-thinking, and self-starting Inventory and Staging Assistant. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the team and ensuring the everyday staging and inventory operations sail smoothly.

In this role, an individual who is meticulous, can keep pace in a high-speed environment, undertake tasks in high-temperature environments and is able to lift and transport packed bins, rugs, artwork, and home furnishings is highly sought after. The Inventory and Staging Assistant will coordinate closely with the Lead Stager/Designer and Staging & Design Director. The role involves safe handling of inventory, loading and offloading from the warehouse to the cargo van, shuttling to clients’ homes, and aiding in staging installations. This role is a contract position based in the warehouse with potential to become a permanent staff member depending on performance and company needs.
The initial work schedule includes part-time hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The chain of responsibilities for this role includes but not limited to; loading and offloading lightweight furniture, home decorations, large-scale artworks, and storage bins from the cargo van. The role also involves moving between the warehouse and job sites to finalize staging installations, supporting the Lead Stager with the arrangement of furniture and home decorations, and sticking to timelines to ensure the completion of each staging project. The position requires mounting artworks, maintaining a positive attitude, being amenable to coaching and learning techniques that boost efficiency, taking responsibility for performance and contributing to the overall success of the company, adapting to varying daily schedules and offering support to the staging department as dictated by company needs, polishing and tidying decor items once placed, vacuuming, and removing debris from floors, entering, amending, and removing items in our system to keep inventory updated, fixing or notifying about damaged items, returning items to their original shelves, and keeping the warehouse tidy, preparing bins for upcoming projects and sorting items from de-stages.
Ideal candidates must possess the ability to lift and move 30-40 lbs, be quick learners with keen attention to detail, be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-temperature climate, demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, have dependable transportation to and from the warehouse in Katy, and exhibit a positive attitude, adaptability, and organizational skills.

The job type is part-time and contract-based and offers an hourly rate of $13.00 – $14.00. The expected weekly hours are 15. The work location requires in-person presence.
