Showhomes Premier Design Studio is on the hunt for an organized, creative, and design-knowledgeable Lead Stager. The successful candidate will oversee and manage high-end home staging projects within Austin’s luxury real estate market. The right candidate must be able to strike a balance between creativity, customer service, and logistics. They will be responsible for evaluating homes, developing personalized staging plans, and spearheading installations that aid in quicker sells and higher property cost.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with several responsibilities. These include performing in-person walkthroughs to assess layout, flow, and staging opportunities. They will consult with homeowners and real estate agents to understand their goals and suggest a custom staging strategy. The lead stager will create cohesive staging plans that appeal to potential buyers and enhance listing attractiveness. They will coordinate with the warehouse team on furniture and accessory selections.
They will also supervise staging installations ensuring efficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and design quality. The lead stager will also lead and assist a team of stagers and movers during installations and de-stagings. They should ensure that spaces are clean, polished, and ready for photographs before listing. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory. The lead stager will also collaborate with the owner on design direction, client satisfaction, and process upgrades. They will represent the Showhomes brand professionally in all client-facing interactions.
To qualify for this role, the candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in home staging, interior decorating, or visual merchandising. They must have a strong design sensibility and a portfolio of past staging or interior work. The ability to conduct client consultations and present design recommendations is a must. The candidate should also have excellent organizational and time management skills. They must be able to lift/move furnishings and work on-site during installations. They need to be comfortable leading a team in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Applicants must have reliable transportation and flexible availability for installation schedules.
Preferred qualifications include experience in luxury staging or real estate marketing. Familiarity with inventory management platforms like Stageforce can be an advantage. Experience working directly with homeowners and real estate agents will be highly valued.
The position can be either part-time or full-time and pays up to $50,000 per year. It requires working between 20 to 25 hours each week from Monday to Friday with no nights or weekends. The work location offers a hybrid remote model in Austin, TX 78754. The benefits include paid time off.
