The team is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to take on the role of Mover/Packer/Warehouse Personnel. This role involves a number of responsibilities including the loading and unloading of furniture, bins, and equipment. The individual would utilize equipment such as dollies, shrink wrap, and rubber bands.
This role involves securely packing items for transportation to ensure they are protected from damage during transit. Part of the task will also involve organizing and staging items within the warehouse, moving trucks, or in houses. Additional duties include assembling furniture and managing the inventory.
The individual might also need to drive box trucks, following designated routes and schedules. These tasks should be done efficiently and with adherence to safety protocols. Additionally, the individual will be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, trucks, and packing supplies.
Preference given to individuals with prior warehouse experience or a background in moving services. The individual must have a valid driver’s license. They should also have an ability to lift over 50lbs safely and a positive attitude towards clients and team members.
Prior experience in route driving, load and unload procedures, and experience as a delivery driver would also be beneficial. This role offers an engaging environment where one’s physical skills and enthusiasm can make a real difference.
The job type is full time or contract with payment starting from $18.00 per hour. The expected hours will range from 20 – 55 per week and offer a flexible schedule. The work will be conducted in person.
