The Austin Hill Country franchise of Set The Stage® is locally owned and operated. They cater to the greater Austin Hill Country region including Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Liberty Hill, and surrounding communities. This role would involve creating relationships within the real estate industry while simultaneously working on staging projects. Candidates who enjoy building relationships and have an appreciation for home design are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be expected to build relationships with real estate agents and brokerages throughout the Austin Hill Country region. This could involve planning and hosting broker-focused events, giving presentations that introduce staging services, and educating agents on how professional staging can lead to faster sales at higher prices. It is critical to maintain follow-up communication with agents to generate referrals and repeat business.

Developing relationships with property managers and exploring partnerships with retirement and assisted living communities will also be required of this role.
When it comes to staging projects, the successful candidate must be willing to get their hands dirty. This will include arranging furniture, décor, artwork, and accessories to create visually appealing spaces, and supporting the Lead Stager with layout planning and design execution. You will also be required to return unused staging items to the warehouse after installations.
Coordination of staging schedules and installation timelines will also fall under the auspices of the successful candidate. The candidate must communicate all staging project details to management and ensure all stages meet the Set The Stage® brand standards.
The right candidate must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Having reliable transportation that allows for local travel is essential. An ability to lift and move furniture is mandatory, as is a degree of self-motivation that allows for self-regulated scheduling. Finally, a keen interest in real estate, interior design, or staging is highly desirable.
The role offers an hourly rate of $20-$25 for approved activities which include staging installs, brokerage presentations, broker lunches, and property walkthroughs. A bonus ranging from $75-$100 will be awarded for each staging project secured through the contractor’s outreach and relationship development efforts. The position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement, and contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes and benefits.
